Policies & Leadership

Cordatus recognises the significant impact that buildings have on the environment and that environmental issues are also directly linked to the financial performance of real estate investments. We also acknowledge the significant impact our operations have on society, whether this be on the staff, occupiers within our properties, or within the wider community. Good governance is essential to business success in financial, environmental and societal terms.

Cordatus is committed to promoting diversity of gender, social and ethnic backgrounds, cognitive and personal strengths and this position is clearly defined in the Cordatus Corporate Governance Code published in 2019. Cordatus also takes a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination which is laid out in our Cordatus Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policy.

Cordatus recognises that we are operating in a net-zero jurisdiction following the setting of a 2050 net-zero target by the UK Government under the Climate Change Act (2008). We are therefore committed to addressing net zero in line with the 2050 target set by the UK government. Further details of our net zero commitments can be found in our Sustainability Policy 2022.

Our CEO Mike Channing leads our ESG Programme and all employees have responsibility to improve ESG performance where practicable. Our ESG policies provide more detail on our approach to the many ESG factors that are applicable to effective Real Estate Asset Management.
